Job summary

Unify is seeking a Shift Team Leader in West Sussex to manage safe, efficient plant operation and supervise staff on shift. The role focuses on HSE compliance, performance monitoring, and proactive maintenance in a specialist power generation facility.

Qualifications

• Experience in power generation, energy, process or industrial plant environments.
• Able to operate and monitor complex plant and equipment, preferably with DCS/SCADA.
• Supervisory experience with contractors or maintenance teams and HSE focus.
• Strong organisation, communication and decision-making skills for shift work.
• Reliable, punctual and flexible with shift cover and training willingness.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safe, efficient operation of the plant and site during shifts.
• Respond to faults, alarms and operational issues on the plant.
• Monitor equipment using DCS/SCADA and perform inspections and records.
• Supervise staff and contractors, review RAMS and ensure safe work practices.
• Support plant maintenance, outages, stock and incident investigations.
• Maintain health, safety and environmental compliance and shift handovers.
