Iceland Foods Ltd is seeking a committed Shift Manager to support the management team in Glasgow. You will be recruited as a Retail Assistant and receive a £2 supplement for every hour you shift manage the store, helping drive availability and customer service.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a retail management or supervisory role.
• Communicates effectively with every colleague to deliver store tasks first time, every time.
• Plans and organises the shift, using every member of the team.
• Provides balanced feedback when needed to improve the performance of every colleague.
• Sets the pace of the team, when on shift, by being hands on to deliver a great store.

Responsibilities

• Maximise profit by ensuring great product availability and driving sales.
• Engage, develop and retain great people; work with the Talking Shop Rep and drive team engagement.
• Follow cash handling and security policies and processes; implement all standard operating procedures.
• Lead by example to deliver outstanding service in-store and at the doorstep.
• Support development and inclusivity within the team and foster a positive culture.
