Job summary

Iceland Foods Ltd is seeking a committed Shift Manager to join our growing retail team. You will support the management team to deliver great availability for customers and drive store performance, with a £2 per hour supplement when you shift-manage the store.

In this role you will lead and develop colleagues, manage shifts, uphold cash handling and service standards, and help create an inclusive, customer-focused store environment across our Iceland and The Food Warehouse network.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a retail management or supervisory role.
• Communicates effectively with every colleague to deliver store tasks first time, every time.
• Plans and organises the shift, using every member of the team.
• Provides balanced feedback when needed to improve the performance of every colleague.
• Sets the pace of the team, when on shift, by being hands on to deliver a great store.

Responsibilities

• Ensure product availability for customers.
• Drive sales by promoting value offers.
• Complete actions set by line manager and follow daily floor walks.
• Support and develop store team and maintain inclusive culture.
• Adhere to cash handling and security policies.
