Job summary

Greggs plc in the United Kingdom is seeking a Shift Manager to lead our shop when the store manager isn’t on duty. You’ll motivate the team, ensure excellent customer service, and oversee food preparation, displays, and cleanliness across in-store, delivery, and drive-thru channels.

You’ll be reliable with natural leadership, support an inclusive culture, and bring prior supervisory experience in a customer-focused environment. You will be paid hourly at £14.00 with additional shift adjustments.

• Strong leadership and team-motivation skills.
• Reliable and capable of managing a busy shop.

Responsibilities

• Inspire the team to deliver amazing results and maintain the shop standards.
• Lead by example and serve customers in a fast and friendly manner.
• Prepare products, including sandwiches and managing ovens.
• Ensure displays are fully stocked with plenty of choice for customers.
• Keep the shop clean, tidy and presentable.
