Job summary

Equans is looking for a Shift Maintenance Assistant to join our team at the Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy. This full-time permanent role covers 37.5 hours per week and includes a shift pattern from 06:00–14:00 or 14:00–22:00.

You will assist with planned and reactive maintenance across mechanical, electrical, heating, ventilation, plumbing and fabric assets, ensuring patient safety and a clean, safe hospital environment while following RAMS and standard procedures.

Qualifications

• Practical maintenance skills across mechanical, electrical, heating, ventilation, plumbing and fabric systems.
• Experience in maintenance or facilities environment is advantageous.
• Good literacy and numeracy with basic IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planned and reactive maintenance.
• Carry out basic servicing, repairs and fault finding.
• Maintain logs and documentation of work performed.
• Follow safe work practices and RAMS.
