EQUANS is seeking a Maintenance Electrician to support Calderdale Royal Hospital in Halifax on a permanent, full-time basis (40 hours per week). The role covers maintenance, repairs and inspection of electrical services, ensuring NHS standards and infection control guidelines are followed.

You will respond to breakdowns, minimise ward disruption, and collaborate with Trust staff and partners to deliver a high-quality, patient-focused service.

Qualifications

• Recognised apprenticeship in relevant engineering discipline to NVQ or City & Guilds level.
• GCSE / O Level Mathematics and English or equivalent.
• ONC / HNC in relevant engineering discipline.

Responsabilités

• Carry out maintenance, repairs and inspection of Electrical services, associated systems, plant and equipment per standards.
• Respond promptly to breakdowns to minimise disruption.
• Collaborate with Trust, partners and colleagues to deliver a patient-focused service.
• Carry out installation work involved in minor upgrading/ adaptation works.
• Safely operate access equipment, hand and power tools and use PPE per safety guidelines.
