Job summary

Tesco is seeking a Shift Lead to join our store team in Manchester. You will lead daily operations, support colleagues across all store areas, and ensure excellent customer service. You will be the go-to person for day-to-day questions and help coach the team to deliver great service.

Candidates must be 18+ and have experience in a team lead or management role within a fast-paced retail environment. We offer flexible hours with a minimum guaranteed weekly schedule and a commitment to inclusive,

Qualifications

Be a strong role model with a passion for delivering great service and ensuring every customer's needs are met.
Experience working in a team lead or management position in a fast-paced retail environment.
We guarantee a minimum of 16 hours per week, though roles from 12 hours are also available.

Responsibilities

Leading the team to deliver a great experience for customers in-store.
Working across all areas of the store and with all colleagues, being the go-to person for day-to-day operational queries.
Building positive, inclusive relationships that help colleagues perform at their best.
Confidently leading the store in the Manager's absence.
Making balanced, flexible decisions and adapting well to change.
Coaching colleagues, giving feedback and role modelling great service.
Staying curious and seeking opportunities to serve our customers, communities, and planet a little better every day.
