Job summary

Hall & Woodhouse’s Ness inn, on the South West Coast Path, is seeking a Shift Leader. You’ll oversee opening/closing, safety, and guest experiences while supporting the GM and leading a hospitality team.

The role offers 5-day weeks, tips on top of base pay, and a clear path to General Manager. Compensation includes £13.70 per hour, a share of tips, a bonus scheme, and generous meal discounts of 60% while on duty, plus a supportive, sustainable workplace within a family-owned Dorset brewer’s

• Confident overseeing opening/closing, safety and security procedures
• Well‑presented, detail‑focused and professional
• Willing to support the GM in coaching and developing the team
• Logical, organized and able to manage multiple tasks
• Driven to deliver outstanding guest experiences
• Able to work days, evenings and weekends and reliably manage the commute
• A natural host who loves creating day making moments
