Job summary

The Smugglers Inn, part of Hall & Woodhouse near Weymouth, is seeking a Shift Leader to support the GM and lead a busy pub-restaurant team. This role offers £13.70 per hour, a share of tips, a bonus scheme, and a clear career pathway to General Manager.

You will oversee opening/closing, coach colleagues, ensure guest experiences, and maintain safety and standards. For the right candidate, the position provides a supportive, family-owned environment with 5-day weeks and strong progression.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality, supervisory experience in a busy food-led environment.
• Able to work days, evenings and weekends.
• Confident overseeing opening/closing, safety and security procedures.
• Well-presented, detail-focused and professional.
