Job summary

Hall & Woodhouse Ness is a Devon inn on the South West Coast Path, part of Hall & Woodhouse. We are seeking a Shift Leader to oversee daily operations, guest experience, and team coaching.

You will be helped to develop from Shift Leader to General Manager, with the support of a warm, sustainable workplace and career progression. Join a friendly team at Ness, enjoying 60% off meals on duty and a share of tips on top of base pay, while contributing to a 5-day working week and a recognized Sunday

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality, ideally with supervisory experience in a busy food-led environment.
• Able to work days, evenings and weekends and reliably manage the commute.
• A shift leader or assistant manager who is kind, calm and approachable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee opening/closing, safety and security procedures.
• Support the GM in coaching and developing the team.
• Deliver outstanding guest experiences.
