Job summary

Hall & Woodhouse’s Ship Inn Weymouth is recruiting a Shift Leader to join a renowned Dorset pub restaurant team. You’ll oversee opening and closing, safety and customer service, and help coach the team to deliver memorable guest experiences.

Expect £13.70 per hour plus a share of tips, 60% off meals on duty, and a clear career path from Shift Leader to General Manager. The role offers a stable 5‑day week in a warm, supportive, and award-winning workplace near Weymouth Harbour.

Qualifications

• Shift leader or assistant manager experience in hospitality.
• Overseeing opening/closing, safety and security procedures.
• Well-presented, detail-focused and professional.
• Able to support the GM in coaching and developing the team.
• Able to work days, evenings and weekends in a busy food-led environment.
