Job summary

Tesco in Nottingham is seeking a Shift Leader to help run a busy store from the shop floor, supporting colleagues and keeping customer service at the heart of everything we do. You will schedule and cover shifts, coach the team, and ensure a safe, well-presented store while aiming to exceed customer expectations.

The role offers flexible hours, with contracts of at least 12 hours per week, and pay starts from £14.76 per hour, rising to £15.97 in stores inside the M25, with more pay details

Responsibilities

• Coordinate store team to deliver an easy, fuss-free shopping experience for customers
• Open and close the store, and complete duty cover while keeping safety a priority
• Lead from the front and set a great example for colleagues in everything you do
• Maintain a clean, well-presented store and support managers with store improvements and seasonal events
• Provide great customer service by listening to customers and putting them first
