Job summary

Tesco is hiring a Shift Lead to help run busy stores in the UK. You will lead a team, ensure great service, and maintain smooth daily operations during peak periods.

The role offers hourly pay from £15.59 and rises to £16.86 in stores within the M25, with a guaranteed minimum weekly hours and flexible shifts to suit availability. You’ll build relationships with colleagues and customers, and have opportunities to grow in a welcoming, inclusive workplace.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a team lead or management position in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Clear communicator with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
• Strong customer-service focus and a passion for helping shoppers.

Responsibilities

• Leading the team to deliver a great in-store experience for customers.
• Working across store areas and with colleagues to handle day-to-day queries.
• Building positive relationships to help colleagues perform at their best.
• Confidently leading the store in the Manager’s absence.
