Job summary

Tesco UK is seeking a Shift Lead to guide store teams in delivering excellent customer service and operational excellence. You’ll lead the team in the absence of the Store Manager, coordinate across all store areas, and model outstanding service while fostering an inclusive, high-performing environment.

Ideal candidates will have prior team-lead or supervisory experience in fast-paced retail, be a confident communicator, and ready to adapt to changing priorities.

• Experience in a team lead or management position in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Strong service orientation and the ability to deliver great customer experiences.
• Clear communicator who can keep the team well informed.

Responsibilities

• Lead the store in the Manager's absence and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
• Co-ordinate across all store areas and support colleagues with queries.
• Coach team members, give feedback, and model excellent service.
