Job summary

At Caffè Nero, Shift Leaders help ensure smooth store operations with a focus on great service and team support. You’ll lead by example, craft excellent drinks, and tailor each order to the customer’s preferences, while keeping the store clean and safe for guests.

Qualifications

• To become a Shift Leader, ideally you will have some experience as a Supervisor or Team Leader.

Our aim is simple: through great coffee and brilliant service, we want to make a positive difference in people's lives. Shift Leaders are key in supporting the smooth running of store operations, providing great service and supporting their team to do the same. They:

• Are charge of the shift, leading their team by example.
• Make fantastic coffee… and matcha… and seasonal drinks… every order is special!
• From bean to cup, they make each customer their coffee, exactly how they like it!
• Provide great service, both in store and through deliveries. With our signature 1-2-1 service style, they ensure customers leave with a personalised experience.
• Keep the customer and back-of-house areas safe, clean, organised and ready for service. Some examples would be cleaning tables or ensuring toilets are kept to the high standards our customers expect.
• Take pride in what they do and always strive for excellence!
