Job summary

Caffè Nero in Leicester is hiring Shift Leaders to oversee daily store operations, lead the team by example, and ensure a consistently high level of service. You will train, motivate and support staff while delivering excellent customer experiences with our signature drinks.

No coffee experience is required initially; full training is provided and opportunities for personal and professional growth are highlighted, with great staff benefits and a strong team culture.

Qualifications

• Experience as Supervisor or Team Leader preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills required.
• Willingness to learn and grow with the team.

Responsibilities

• Lead the shift and coach the team to deliver great service.
• Prepare and serve drinks to standard, including seasonal and specialty options.
• Maintain clean, safe back-of-house and customer areas at all times.
• Deliver personalised service and manage deliveries as needed.
• Represent Caffè Nero with a positive attitude and high energy.

Shift Leaders are key in supporting the smooth running of store operations, providing great service and supporting their team to do the same. They:

• Are charge of the shift, leading their team by example.
• Make fantastic coffee… and matcha… and seasonal drinks… every order is special!
  From bean to cup, they make each customer their coffee, exactly how they like it!
• Provide great service, both in store and through deliveries. With our signature 1-2-1 service style, they ensure customers leave with a personalised experience.
• Keep the customer and back-of-house areas safe, clean, organised and ready for service. Some examples would be cleaning tables or ensuring toilets are kept to the high standards our customers expect.
• Take pride in what they do and always strive for excellence!
  To become a Shift Leader, ideally you will have some experience as a Supervisor or Team Leader - but if you haven't got that don't worry, we'd still love to hear from you.
