Job summary

Caffè Nero is hiring a Shift Leader in the United Kingdom. The role focuses on leading the shift, delivering fantastic service and supporting a growing team. Full training is provided and no prior coffee experience is required.

You will be responsible for managing store operations, maintaining high service standards, and ensuring every customer receives a personalised experience. There are opportunities to advance and develop professionally within the brand.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Supervisor or Team Leader preferred, but not required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lead by example and support a team.

• Are charge of the shift, leading their team by example.
• Make fantastic coffee… and matcha… and seasonal drinks… every order is special!
  From bean to cup, they make each customer their coffee, exactly how they like it!
• Provide great service, both in store and through deliveries. With our signature 1-2-1 service style, they ensure customers leave with a personalised experience.
• Keep the customer and back-of-house areas safe, clean, organised and ready for service. Some examples would be cleaning tables or ensuring toilets are kept to the high standards our customers expect.
• Take pride in what they do and always strive for excellence!

To become a Shift Leader, ideally you will have some experience as a Supervisor or Team Leader – but if you haven’t got that don’t worry, we’d still love to hear from you.

The starter rate for Shift Leaders in this location is £12.76 per hour, increasing to £12.91 with service.
