Job summary

Caffè Nero in Colchester is hiring for a Shift Leader to drive smooth store operations and deliver outstanding service. You’ll lead the team on shift, set a positive example, and ensure every customer gets a personalised experience with great coffee, matches, and seasonal drinks.

Previous supervisory or team‑leading experience is ideal, but all motivated applicants are welcome. Expect great training, career growth, and generous store perks.

• Experience as a supervisor or team leader is preferred but not required.
• No coffee experience is required for this role.

• Are charge of the shift, leading their team by example.
• Make fantastic coffee… and matcha… and seasonal drinks… every order is special!
• From bean to cup, they make each customer their coffee, exactly how they like it!
• Provide great service, both in store and through deliveries. With our signature 1-2-1 service style, they ensure customers leave with a personalised experience.
• Keep the customer and back-of-house areas safe, clean, organised and ready for service. Some examples would be cleaning tables or ensuring toilets are kept to the high standards our customers expect.
• Take pride in what they do and always strive for excellence! Enjoy customer interaction

Positive attitude Teamwork, To become a Shift Leader, ideally you will have some experience as a Supervisor or Team Leader - but if you haven't got that don't worry, we'd still love to hear from you.
