Job summary

Marks & Spencer Plc in Fort William is seeking a Team Support Manager to oversee the fill operation on a sequence of shifts, ensuring the sales floor is ready to trade. You will coordinate colleagues to Serve, Sell and Fill, and act as floor lead when the Colleague Manager is absent.

This frontline role requires driving productivity, guiding team members, and maintaining a safe, clean store while delivering great customer service and upholding M&S behaviours.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Lead the fill operation and coordinate resource to deliver operational tasks during the fill period and in the absence of the Colleague Manager.
• Lead the floor in the absence of the Colleague Manager and coach colleagues on One Best Way to drive productivity for store opening readiness.
• Allocate resources to deliver a quick payment experience and ensure daily operational processes are implemented efficiently.
• Coordinate the team to deliver a clean, safe and well-presented store, and foster a great team atmosphere inclusive of everyone.
• Role model excellent Customer Service and demonstrate M&S behaviours and Colleague Expectations across the store.
• Support Colleague Managers by sharing observations to help deliver high performance and recognise great colleagues; support nearby stores if required.
• Be a key holder and handle call outs; manage opening and closing tasks including receipt of vehicles, temperature controls, logging issues with Helpdesks, cash handling and TSL compliance.
• This is a frontline role with significant responsibility and opportunity for growth.
