Job summary

Tesco is seeking a Shift Lead to support daily store operations in the UK. You’ll lead a small team, ensure excellent customer service, and coordinate shifts with proactive communication. The role requires you to be over 18 and ready to work across assigned windows.

Pay starts at £15.59 per hour, rising to £16.86 in M25 stores, with a guaranteed minimum of 16 hours per week and options from 12 hours. You’ll be part of an inclusive team and can grow your career with Tesco.

• Experience in a team lead or management position in fast-paced retail.
• Strong service orientation and ability to meet customer needs.
• Clear communicator and natural leader.

Responsibilities

• Leading the team to deliver a great experience for customers in-store.
• Working across all areas of the store and with all colleagues, being the go-to person for day-to-day operational queries.
• Building positive, inclusive relationships that help colleagues perform at their best.
• Confidently leading the store in the Manager’s absence.
