Job summary

Marks & Spencer Plc is seeking a Shift Lead to manage the fill operation, ensuring the sales floor is ready to trade and resources are coordinated for efficient service. The role involves leading the floor in the Colleague Manager's absence and maintaining a safe, clean store environment.

You will model excellent customer service, coach colleagues on the One Best Way, and support neighbouring stores if required. This frontline position requires readiness to roll up sleeves and deliver results.

Responsibilities

• Lead the fill operation to keep the salesfloor ready to trade.
• Coordinate resources to deliver operational tasks during the fill.
• Lead the floor in the absence of the Colleague Manager.
• Allocate resources for a quick payment experience.
• Ensure store is clean, safe, and well-presented.
• Model great customer service and M&S behaviours.
• Support Colleague Managers by sharing observations and recognizing great colleagues.
• Be a key holder and handle opening/closing tasks, cash handling, and temperature controls.
• Be prepared to support nearby stores if needed.
