Encirc Elton is recruiting a time-served Shift Fitter to maintain and repair our 24/7 manufacturing site in Cheshire. You'll tackle breakdowns, conduct planned maintenance, fault-find on mechanical systems and ensure equipment runs safely and reliably.

The role requires a time-served mechanical engineering qualification, maintenance experience in a 24/7 environment, and strong fault-finding skills. A "Fix 4 Life" mindset and effective communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Time-served mechanical engineering qualification Level 3 / ONC / City & Guilds.
• Manufacturing maintenance experience, ideally in a 24/7 environment.
• Strong mechanical fault-finding skills.
• Experience with conveyors, gearboxes and process machinery.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions under pressure.
• Good communication skills and a "Fix 4 Life" mindset.
• HNC/HND, electrical skills, SAP/CMMS experience and RCA/Kaizen knowledge would be a bonus.

Responsibilities

Shift Fitter Elton, Cheshire Permanent Salary - £58,000 - £60,700 Were looking for a time-served Mechanical Engineering Technician (Shift Fitter) to join our busy 24/7 manufacturing site at Encirc Elton. This is a hands-on role where youll be responsible for keeping our plant and equipment running safely and reliably. Youll tackle breakdowns, carry out planned maintenance, fault-find mechanical issues and make sure problems are Fixed 4 Life - not just patched up.
