Control Recruitment Solutions Ltd is seeking a multiskilled Shift Maintenance Engineer for a Knowsley site. The role offers £53,000 salary, a pension, 20 days holiday, a bonus, and overtime. Shifts are 2 days, 2 nights, 4 off, 7–7, in a modern facility with expansion plans.

Ideal applicants have electrical bias, NVQ3/ONC/HNC, and food/beverage or FMCG experience. Candidates should be able to operate PLCs, PLC controls, and work with Siemens/SIEMENS TI A.

• Maintain manufacturing and process machinery including filling lines, conveyors, and packaging equipment.
• Reactive and preventive maintenance, changeovers, trials.
• Contribute to downtime improvements and HSE initiatives.

Shift Maintenance Engineer

• Seeking a multiskilled maintenance engineer to join a growing company with significant investment.

The Job:

• Maintain manufacturing and process machinery such as; filling machinery, conveyors, high speed materials processing machines, sensors / switches, pneumatics, PLC’s, bearings, pumps, wrappers, palletizers, labellers, packaging machinery, steam systems.
• Reactive and preventive maintenance, changeovers, trials.
• Contribute to downtime improvements, HSE.

The Person:

• Electrical bias preferred but not essential. NVQ 3 or ONC or HNC
• Food or beverage industry experience
• Good communication, stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills important.
• Suitable backgrounds can include (but not limited to) manufacturing plant experience eg food, beverage, liquid filling, packaging, FMCG, automated warehousing, stackers, sorters / sortation, robotics, sensors, scanners, PLCs, Siemens, TIA, labellers, printing, canning, glass, plastics, pharmaceutical.
