Job summary

Stirling Warrington is seeking a Shift Maintenance Engineer to join a high-performing manufacturing team. The role involves carrying out planned, preventive and reactive maintenance on process equipment and improving asset reliability to reduce downtime.

You will use SAP PM to record activities, support RCA and CI projects, and promote health and safety standards across the site. Training and progression opportunities are available in a modern facility.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Engineering Maintenance Apprenticeship completed.
• Experience in maintenance engineering in manufacturing or FMCG sectors.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned, preventative and reactive maintenance on process equipment.

We're recruiting on behalf of a leading food manufacturer for an experienced Shift Maintenance Engineer to join a high-performing engineering team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a modern manufacturing environment where you'll play a key role in improving equipment reliability, reducing downtime, and driving continuous improvement.

The Role

• Carry out planned, preventative and reactive maintenance on process equipment.
• Improve asset reliability and minimise downtime.
• Use CMMS (SAP preferred) to record maintenance activities.
• Support Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and continuous improvement projects.
• Promote high standards of health & safety, including LOTO and Permit to Work procedures.
• Provide engineering support for site improvement projects.

About You

• Level 3 Engineering Maintenance Apprenticeship
• Previous maintenance engineering experience within manufacturing, FMCG or food production.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• SAP PM and continuous improvement experience.
