Job summary

Stirling Warrington is recruiting a Shift Maintenance Engineer to join a high-performing manufacturing team in a modern food production facility. The role focuses on maintaining process equipment, improving reliability, reducing downtime, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

You'll carry out planned, preventive and reactive maintenance, use SAP PM within the CMMS, and assist with RCA and site improvement projects.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Engineering Maintenance Apprenticeship completed.
• Experience in maintenance engineering within manufacturing, FMCG or food production.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with SAP PM and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned, preventative and reactive maintenance on process equipment.

We're recruiting on behalf of a leading food manufacturer for an experienced Shift Maintenance Engineer to join a high-performing engineering team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a modern manufacturing environment where you'll play a key role in improving equipment reliability, reducing downtime, and driving continuous improvement.

The Role

• Carry out planned, preventative and reactive maintenance on process equipment.
• Improve asset reliability and minimise downtime.
• Use CMMS (SAP preferred) to record maintenance activities.
• Support Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and continuous improvement projects.
• Promote high standards of health & safety, including LOTO and Permit to Work procedures.
• Provide engineering support for site improvement projects.

About You

• Level 3 Engineering Maintenance Apprenticeship
• Previous maintenance engineering experience within manufacturing, FMCG or food production.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• SAP PM and continuous improvement experience.
