Job summary

Caerphilly County Borough Council is recruiting for a permanent full-time role in Caerphilly Homes and the Older Persons Housing Team. You will deliver housing-related support across 30 sheltered housing schemes, working independently and as part of a team to promote wellbeing, inclusion and safety.

The role requires a Level 2 qualification in Housing/Care/Support, experience in housing or care, and a valid UK Category B driving licence to travel between schemes.

• Good communication skills and work ethic.
• Experience in housing, care or support fields.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver housing-related support across sheltered housing schemes.
• Carry out on-site management within schemes.
• Respond to emergency calls when on site.
• Promote health, wellbeing, social inclusion and safety and security for Contract Holders.
