A local government authority in Halifax seeks a full-time Shared Lives Officer to support adults in Shared Lives arrangements. You will work on matching individuals with carers, support team efforts, and promote the Shared Lives model. We are seeking a full‑time Shared Lives Officer to join our small but dedicated team supporting adults with care and support needs to live life to the fullest in Shared Lives arrangements.
Working flexibly, on occasions working outside of normal working hours, is required to support with event evenings and respond to emergencies ensuring an excellent service for the people we support is offered. You will be required to travel for work purposes.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expect all staff to share this commitment. Applicants to posts that are exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act will require a DBS from the Disclosure and Barring Service before the appointment is confirmed.
