Job summary

SSE is seeking a Service Management Product Manager for the ServiceNow platform. You will define and evolve the strategic roadmap, translate business needs into technical requirements and collaborate with architects, developers and partners to deliver robust platform capabilities.

This role focuses on governance, performance and security within SSE's enterprise service management framework. You will partner with stakeholders across SSE to drive platform improvements, ensure alignment with

Qualifications

• A proven track record of working with Service Management tooling and leading technical teams.
• Strong ServiceNow experience, including practical technical knowledge of ITSM and ITOM capabilities.
• Current expertise in SIAM and ITIL standards and best practice.
• Skilled in communicating product roadmaps, prioritising features based on business value, technical considerations and user impact.
• Ability to work with end users, architects and technical teams to understand technical requirements and constraints and evolve the service to meet SSE's requirements.
• Experience in Third party Management and contract negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Planning: Support the Senior Product Owner in the development and communication of the strategic roadmap for ServiceNow, aligning with business objectives.
• Product Development: Oversee and support platform feature development with architects, developers and service partners to ensure technical soundness.
• Stakeholder Management: Engage with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into platform and technical requirements.
• Performance Monitoring: Monitor platform performance and identify opportunities for optimisation through data-driven insights.
• Compliance and Security: Support governance to ensure platform services align with policies, security requirements and industry standards.
