Job summary

DGH Recruitment Ltd. is seeking a ServiceNow Data and CMDB Specialist to own governance, quality and the ongoing maturity of the CMDB. You will ensure CI data and relationships are accurate, complete, and fit for purpose, aligning with CSDM standards.

You will work with service owners, Platform Engineering and data owners to govern data, manage data sources and maintain the CMDB data model, CI classes and life cycle standards across a medium-to-large organisation.

Qualifications

• Experience with CMDB governance and lifecycle management.
• Ability to implement CSDM data models and relationships.
• Hands-on CMDB maintenance in medium-to-large organisations.
• Experience with data-quality controls and remediation.
• Knowledge of ServiceNow Discovery, Service Mapping, and Identification and Reconciliation Engine (IRE).
• Experience creating ServiceNow reports and dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Own CMDB governance, data quality and ongoing maturity.
• Maintain the CMDB data model, CI classes, attributes and lifecycle standards.
• Govern data sources, ownership, definitions, quality expectations and integration dependencies.
• Collaborate with service owners and Platform Engineering to ensure proper recording and relationships.
• Monitor data quality through regular reviews and root-cause analysis; coordinate actions.
• Coordinate reconciliations and corrective actions with relevant owners.
• Support governance in new integrations and automation designs.
