Job summary

Focus Group is seeking an experienced Application Lead (ServiceNow CMDB) to own the strategy, configuration, and optimisation of our ServiceNow platform. You’ll drive CMDB/CSDM data integrity, lead release management, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, business-aligned solutions for customers and internal teams.

In this role you will shape the platform roadmap, implement governance, and coordinate with vendors and internal teams to ensure performance and reliability

Qualifications

• Strong experience in ServiceNow platform administration, configuration, and release management.
• Deep CMDB expertise including schema design and data modelling.
• Solid understanding of CSDM principles and best practices.
• Experience designing and optimising enterprise workflows and platform performance.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver the roadmap for CMDB and CSDM, aligning with business needs.
• Act as technical authority for configuration data structure and integration.
• Lead platform configuration, administration, and release management across BAU and projects.
• Design and optimise CMDB schema, data models, and workflows.
• Drive automation and performance optimisation across the platform.
• Plan and execute release cycles, upgrades, and documentation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions.
• Liaise with ServiceNow partners and providers.
• Support onboarding of new teams and acquisitions.
