Job summary

Kardex Systems UK Ltd. is seeking a skilled field service engineer to join our team. You will service and maintain Kardex installed systems, perform electrical and mechanical repairs, safety checks and on-site support for customers in your region.

You will work independently, travel to sites, and handle complex fault diagnosis with a customer-focused approach. A Category B driving licence is required, and training is provided at our academy.

Qualifications

• Completed technical vocational training with reading electrical schematics.
• Experience in field service and customer-facing support is preferred.
• Able to work safely with up to 1000 volts and at heights up to 7 metres.

• Carry out electrical and mechanical repairs, maintenance, safety checks and other service tasks on installed systems.
• Identify faults quickly and provide practical, effective solutions.

Your tasks

• In your home region you are the go-to service expert for our customers.
• You will carry out electrical and mechanical repairs, maintenance work, safety checks and all other service tasks on our installed systems.
• You have a keen instinct for identifying faults quickly and finding practical, effective solutions.
• Working at heights of up to 7 metres is sometimes required, and you handle this confidently and calmly.
• As a friendly, solution-oriented contact person, you are always there for our customers.
• You advise customers on recommended service work and support them with on-site training and instruction.

Your profile

• Completed technical vocational training, for example as: Industrial electrician Electrician Mechatronics technician Electrical installer Electronics technician Certified electrical specialist …or similar – as long as you can read electrical schematics and safely work with up to 1000 volts.
• Ideally, you already have experience in field service and are comfortable working at heights. Up to 7 metres is no issue for you.
• Strong commitment and excellent customer orientation come naturally to you.
• You are used to working independently and solution-focused.
• A Category B driving licence is required.
