Job summary

The Kardex Group in the United Kingdom is seeking a service electrician/technician to perform electrical and mechanical repairs, maintenance, and safety checks on installed systems. You will diagnose faults quickly and provide practical solutions, with on-site training for customers.

Ideal candidates have completed vocational training in electrical fields, can read schematics, and are comfortable working up to 1000 volts and at heights up to 7 metres. Driving licence (Category B) is required.

Qualifications

• Technical vocational training in a relevant electrical field.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and work up to 1000 volts.
• Experience in field service and working at heights is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical and mechanical repairs and maintenance on installed systems.
• Carry out safety checks and other service tasks as required.
• Advise customers on service work and provide on-site training.
• Work confidently at heights up to 7 metres and support customers with practical solutions.

You advise customers on recommended service work and support them with on-site training and instruction.Your profileYour profile Completed technical vocational training, for example as:Industrial electricianElectricianMechatronics technicianElectrical installerElectronics technicianCertified electrical specialist …or similar – as long as you can read electrical schematics and safely work with up to 1000 volts. Ideally, you already have experience in field service and are comfortable working at heights. Up to 7 metres is no issue for you. Strong commitment and excellent customer orientation come naturally to you.️ You are used to working independently and solution-focused. A Category B driving licence is required.
