Kardex Systems UK Ltd. in Hertford is seeking a field service engineer to support Kardex customers across the region. You will perform electrical and mechanical maintenance on automated storage solutions and ensure safety and reliability.

The ideal candidate holds vocational electrical training, is comfortable working at heights up to 7 metres, and has a Category B driving licence. We provide extensive training, a company vehicle, pension and health benefits.

Your tasks

• In your home region you are the go-to service expert for our customers.
• You will carry out electrical and mechanical repairs, maintenance work, safety checks and all other service tasks on our installed systems.
• You have a keen instinct for identifying faults quickly and finding practical, effective solutions.
• Working at heights of up to 7 metres is sometimes required, and you handle this confidently and calmly.
• As a friendly, solution-oriented contact person, you are always there for our customers.
• You advise customers on recommended service work and support them with on-site training and instruction.

Your profile

• Completed technical vocational training, for example as: Industrial electrician Electrician Mechatronics technician Electrical installer Electronics technician Certified electrical specialist …or similar – as long as you can read electrical schematics and safely work with up to 1000 volts.
• Ideally, you already have experience in field service and are comfortable working at heights. Up to 7 metres is no issue for you.
• Strong commitment and excellent customer orientation come naturally to you.
• You are used to working independently and solution-focused.
• A Category B driving licence is required.
