Key responsibilities include servicing, diagnosing faults, health checks, and mentoring junior technicians, with a focus on quality workmanship and customer service.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent automotive qualification.
• Experience as Vehicle Technician or Service Technician.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic abilities.
• Experience in dealership/franchise environment preferred.
• MOT Tester qualification advantageous.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent organisation and time-management skills.
• Strong commitment to customer service and quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Carry out vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs to manufacturers standards.
• Diagnose and rectify faults efficiently and accurately.
• Perform vehicle health checks and identify remedial work.
• Ensure work aligns with workshop and manufacturer procedures.
• Mentor less experienced technicians.
• Liaise with customers and provide repair updates.
• Attend ongoing technical and manufacturer training.
• Complete job cards and workshop documentation accurately.
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment.
• Meet productivity and quality targets.

Salary: £37,000 - £52,000 OTE + Uncapped Bonus

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm (1 hour lunch)

Requirements

• Relevant automotive qualification such as NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, BTEC or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician or Service Technician.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic abilities.
• Experience working within a dealership or franchise environment preferred.
