Protyre Autocare, part of The Micheldever Group, is hiring a Service Technician to service and repair vehicles using modern diagnostic tech. You will fit tyres, brakes, exhausts and more, with focus on safety and quality, while adhering to inspection procedures.

You will work in a fast-paced team environment, delivering high customer service and benefiting from extensive IMI training and career development opportunities.

Qualificações

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification related to the automotive industry.
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Experience with diagnostics equipment.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure the work completed on each vehicle is carried out safely and to a high standard.
• Carrying out fast fit tyre fitting while using an alignment machine and understanding readings and adjustments.
• Fitting brakes, exhausts, batteries, suspension and other mechanical components.
• Carrying out MOT repairs.
• Adherence to company procedures of the vehicle inspection process.
• Use diagnostic equipment to ensure diagnostics, testing, and repairs are thorough and of high quality.
• Advise on other issues vehicles display, including common issues for makes and ages and future repair needs.
• Work in a safe manner and comply with health and safety regulations.

Job Summary

Protyre Autocare is looking for an enthusiastic Service Technician to join our growing team. We are a fast-growing national automotive company offering superb training and development opportunities.

As a Vehicle Technician you are responsible for providing exceptional vehicle servicing and repairs by using latest diagnostic technology and techniques to identify vehicle issues.

• Must have: Full current UK Driving Licence is required for this role, held for at least 6 months (age restrictions may apply – points or offences may affect your application).

About the role:

• Ensure the work completed on each vehicle is carried out safely and to a high standard

• Completing fast fit tyre fitting whilst being able to use an alignment machine and understand the reading and relevant adjustments

• Fitting brakes, exhausts, batteries, suspension and other mechanical products

• Carrying out MOT repairs

• Adherence to company procedures of the vehicle inspection process

• Use relevant diagnostic equipment to ensure diagnostics, testing, and repairs are thorough and to highest quality

• Advise on other issues vehicles display, including common issues vehicles of certain makes and ages develop, and offers timelines for future vehicle repair needs

• Working in a safe manner and always comply with health & safety regulations

About you:

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification related to the Automotive industry

• Experienced with mechanical and fast fit repairs which may include tyre fitting, exhausts, brakes, suspension and general servicing repairs to a wide range of vehicles

• The ability to work as part of a busy team in a fast-paced dynamic environment

• Experience with diagnostic equipment

• Great customer service skills

• Full UK Driving Licence
