Protyre Autocare is seeking an enthusiastic Service Technician to join our growing team in the UK. You will provide vehicle servicing and repairs using the latest diagnostic technology to identify issues and ensure high-quality workmanship.

The role requires a Level 3 Automotive qualification and a full UK driving licence, with opportunities for funded IMI courses, training, and progression within Micheldever Group.

Qualifikationen

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent Automotive qualification.
• Experience with mechanical and fast fit repairs including tyre fitting, brakes, exhausts, suspension.
• Full UK Driving Licence (essential).

Aufgaben

• Perform safe, high-quality vehicle servicing and repairs.
• Carry out fast-fit tyre fitting and use alignment machine and readings.
• Fit brakes, exhausts, batteries, suspension, and other components.
• Carry out MOT repairs.
• Adhere to company vehicle inspection procedures.
• Use diagnostic equipment for thorough testing and repairs.
• Advise on future repair needs and vehicle issues.
• Maintain safe working practices and comply with health and safety regulations.

As aVehicle Technicianyou are responsible for providing exceptional vehicle servicing and repairs by using latest diagnostic technology and techniques to identify vehicle issues.

Must have:

• Full current UK Driving Licence is required for this role, held for at least 6 months (age restrictions may apply – points or offences may affect your application).
• Level 3 Automotive Qualification

About the role:

• Ensure the work completed on each vehicle is carried out safely and to a high standard
• Completing fast fit tyre fitting whilst being able to use an alignment machine and understand the reading and relevant adjustments
• Fitting brakes, exhausts, batteries, suspension and other mechanical products
• Carrying out MOT repairs
• Adherence to company procedures of the vehicle inspection process
• Use relevant diagnostic equipment to ensure diagnostics, testing, and repairs are thorough and to highest quality
• Advise on other issues vehicles display, including common issues vehicles of certain makes and ages develop, and offers timelines for future vehicle repair needs
• Working in a safe manner and always comply with health & safety regulations

About you:

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification related to the Automotive industry
• Experienced with mechanical and fast fit repairs which may include tyre fitting, exhausts, brakes, suspension and general servicing repairs to a wide range of vehicles
• The ability to work as part of a busy team in a fast-paced dynamic environment
• Experience with diagnostic equipment
• Full UK Driving Licence
