Protyre Autocare is seeking a motivated Service Technician to join our expanding team. You will service and repair vehicles using diagnostic tools, perform fast-fit duties, and contribute to MOT-related work with a focus on safety and quality.

Ideal candidates will hold NVQ Level 3 or Level 3 Automotive Qualification, have a valid UK driving licence, and thrive in a busy workshop environment with opportunities for IMI courses and career development.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification related to the Automotive industry.
• Experienced with mechanical and fast fit repairs including tyre fitting, brakes, suspension and servicing.
• Ability to work as part of a busy team in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with diagnostic equipment.

Responsabilités

• Perform fast-fit tyre fitting and operate alignment machinery.
• Fit brakes, exhausts, batteries, suspension and other components.
• Carry out MOT repairs and ensure safety standards.
• Follow vehicle inspection procedures and document work.
• Use diagnostics to identify and fix issues to a high standard.
• Advise on additional repairs and timelines for future needs.

Protyre Autocare is looking for an enthusiasticService Technician to join our growing team. We are a fast-growing national automotive company offering superb training and development opportunities.

As aVehicle Technician you are responsible for providing exceptional vehicle servicing and repairs by using latest diagnostic technology and techniques to identify vehicle issues.

Must have:

Full current UK Driving Licence is required for this role, held for at least 6 months (age restrictions may apply - points or offences may affect your application).

About the role:

Ensure the work completed on each vehicle is carried out safely and to a high standard

Completing fast fit tyre fitting whilst being able to use an alignment machine and understand the reading and relevant adjustments

Fitting brakes, exhausts, batteries, suspension and other mechanical products

Carrying out MOT repairs

Adherence to company procedures of the vehicle inspection process

Use relevant diagnostic equipment to ensure diagnostics, testing, and repairs are thorough and to highest quality

Advise on other issues vehicles display, including common issues vehicles of certain makes and ages develop, and offers timelines for future vehicle repair needs

Working in a safe manner and always comply with health & safety regulations

About you:

NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification related to the Automotive industry

Experienced with mechanical and fast fit repairs which may include tyre fitting, exhausts, brakes, suspension and general servicing repairs to a wide range of vehicles

The ability to work as part of a busy team in a fast-paced dynamic environment

Experience with diagnostic equipment

Full UK Driving Licence
