Job summary

Konecranes in the United Kingdom is seeking a Scheduler to join our team in Rotherham. You will coordinate scheduling and dispatch of Service Technicians to deliver on-time, efficient service for both agreement-based and service-based work.

In this role, you will focus on delivering an unrivalled customer experience, manage subcontracted services and equipment rentals, and monitor workload to maximise productivity across a defined geographic area.

Qualifications

• Experience in planning or scheduling role essential.
• Strong customer focus and communication skills.
• Excellent organisational abilities with attention to detail.
• Good geographical knowledge and ability to prioritise tasks.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, plan and schedule service requests and work packages and assign to field operatives ensuring forward and on-time planning of agreement based and service based work.
• From SR completed to approval stage, complete the approval process including customer reporting quality and progress to approved status.
• Ensure work is delivered within planned hours for both agreement based services and planned based services, reviewing planned vs actual labour and material/equipment costs prior to SR approval.
• Manage Technician productivity, hours management and utilisation using the Siebel Planning Board.
• Create Purchase Order Requests in Siebel and verify PO requests are submitted to SAP without errors.
• Participate in regular WIP meetings and implement agreed actions.
• Coordinate sub-contracted services and equipment, including rentals.
• Monitor delivery of materials, sub-contracted services and equipment and update internal stakeholders.
