Job summary

Wiltshire Police seeks a Service Owner to lead the vision, strategy and evolution of critical digital, data and technology services. You will bring together multidisciplinary teams, drive data-informed decisions and continuous improvement to deliver resilient services for modern policing.

The role emphasises user-centred design, accountability and delivering measurable outcomes, with ITIL 4 Foundation and Managing Professional certifications as core prerequisites.

Qualifications

• ITIL 4 certification track record demonstrating service lifecycle mastery.
• Experience leading digital, data and technology services.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and balance priorities.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end service for your assigned domain with accountability for vision, strategy, outcomes and user experience.
• Set and evolve the service roadmap based on user insight and organisational priorities.
• Define service KPIs to monitor health, prioritise improvements and demonstrate value.
• Sponsor service change balancing user needs, priorities, risk and funding.
• Ensure governance, assurance and risk management across security, resilience and data protection.
• Be accountable for live service performance including availability and user satisfaction.
• Use feedback and data to drive continuous improvement and inform evolution, replacement or retirement decisions.
• Build strong senior stakeholder relationships and nurture high-performing, accountable teams.
