Job summary

First Military Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Service Controller in North Anston to act as the main point of contact for customers and engineers, coordinating daily service activities and initiating new jobs.

You will manage job sheets, timesheets and chargeable invoices, ensuring SLAs are met and daily invoicing is completed. Strong PC literacy and excellent communication are essential to liaise with depots, dealers and third-party providers for efficient technician utilisation.

Qualifications

• PC literacy and proficiency with office software.
• Good telephone manners.
• Strong interpersonal, organisational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Take incoming calls from customers and action as necessary.
• Plan workloads and deploy engineers ensuring maximum efficiencies are maintained.
• Liaise with depots, dealers and 3rd party service providers when customers are out of Depot area, ensuring timely responses and updated daily status reports.
• Log and provide information to enable KPI reporting and invoicing for chargeable work.
• Customer liaison/Queries/Quotations/Estimates
• Engineer contact/Communication/Support
• Check and monitor job sheets/timesheets and highlight variances to the service manager.
• Ensure parts requests are followed up to maximise efficiency and minimise downtime.
• Produce estimates for chargeable work using templates.
• Cover during absence/holidays for colleagues and perform general admin tasks.
