Job summary

Mon Motors Ltd seeks a capable leader to manage and optimise the service department, balancing hands-on operational control with strong leadership. You will drive efficiency, profitability, and exceptional customer experience while supporting the Aftersales Manager in strategic objectives.

The role requires experience in workshop operations and front-of-house management, with solid knowledge of DMS systems, warranty rules, and KPI reporting. A background in the motor trade is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in service operations in workshop and front-of-house management.
• Outstanding communication skills and the ability to build relationships and deliver the highest level of customer service.
• Strong leadership, coaching skills and conflict resolution.
• Commercial acumen and KPI management ability.
• Proficiency in DMS/workshop systems and reporting tools.
• Knowledge of manufacturer standards, warranty rules, H&S, GDPR/PECR.
• Experienced in a similar role within the motor trade.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimise all aspects of the service department, balancing hands-on control with leadership responsibilities.
• Support the Aftersales Manager in strategic objectives and assume full service and parts duties when the Aftersales Manager is absent.
