Job summary

Sytner Group is seeking an experienced Workshop Manager to lead the daily aftersales workshop, ensuring safe operations, high quality workmanship and excellent customer service. You will work closely with the Service Manager to maximise productivity, coach technicians and deliver a first-time fix and a high standard of customer care.

The role requires proven automotive leadership, a passion for developing people, and the ability to drive performance in a fast-paced franchised retail environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading automotive workshops or service departments.
• Proven track record of improving technician productivity and workshop performance.
• Strong organisational and leadership skills.
• Excellent customer focus with commitment to service quality.
• Ability to coach and develop teams and manage performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily workshop operations to maximise productivity and efficiency.
• Coach and develop technicians, conduct performance reviews and provide feedback.
• Support service advisors to resolve customer concerns and queries and ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain health, safety and quality standards and drive continuous improvement.
• Monitor workshop metrics and drive profitability and loss reduction.
