Phoenix Futures Group is seeking a Service Manager for our psychosocial substance use service at HMP Bure. You will lead and support staff, oversee client interventions, and work in a challenging Cat C setting to help men on their recovery journeys.

The role emphasizes staff development, partnership work, and robust caseload management, with a strong focus on outcomes and safeguarding in custody environments.

Qualificações

Phoenix Futures at HMP Bure has a rare opportunity for you to join as Service Manager in our specialist psychosocial substance use service.

The Role

As a Service Manager, you will support men at HMP Bure to reach their goals and change their lives for the better. HMP Bure is a Cat C, specialist prison for men convicted of sex offences, and this unique setting is both rewarding and challenging, giving you the opportunity to make a real difference. You will be part of a passionate and skilled team, contributing to the provision of tailored interventions and recovery approaches.

About You

• A passion for nurturing the development of your staff. Previous experience of managing people is desirable
• Relevant experience of working in health and social care, ideally within the field of problematic substance use, mental health or another comparable field
• Evidence of effective partnership working and the ability to network for the benefit of the client and service
• Evidence of managing a busy caseload or tasks and excellent organisational skills
• To be proficient in the use of Microsoft Outlook and Word and be familiar with database management systems
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Understand complex issues presented by people entering custody
• Determined, with a drive to succeed and a willingness to learn
• Passionate and enthusiastic about making a real difference to the lives of people we support

Your Rewards

• Starting salary of £30,500, with opportunity to access potential yearly increments, subject to appraisal, meaning a potential salary increase of up to £36,000
