Phoenix Futures at HMP Bure is seeking a Service Manager to lead a specialised psychosocial substance use service for men in custody. You will support staff development, manage a busy caseload, and deliver tailored interventions in a challenging prison environment.

This role offers career development and a strong focus on recovery and outcomes. Responsibilities include building partnerships, coordinating services, and maintaining high standards of care.

Qualifications

• Experience in health and social care settings, ideally with substance use/mental health
• Proven ability to lead and develop staff and teams
• Strong partnership building and networking skills
• Excellent organisational and caseload management abilities
• Proficient with MS Outlook, Word and databases
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Understanding custody-related issues and drive to improve outcomes
• Motivation and enthusiasm to support recovery journeys

Responsabilités

• Lead and support staff development within the service
• Manage a busy caseload and coordinate interventions for service users
• Develop partnerships with stakeholders to benefit clients
• Contribute to planning and delivering tailored psychosocial interventions
• Ensure quality of care and service delivery within the prison setting
• Utilise databases and maintain accurate records for reporting
