Job summary

Community Integrated Care in Knowsley (England) is seeking an experienced CQC Registered Manager to lead a designated extra care service. You will ensure high-quality, person-centred care and maintain CQC compliance, while supporting staff and engaging with families and professionals.

This permanent role offers 37.5 hours per week, with a salary up to £32,507 depending on experience, DBS covered, and ongoing development opportunities within a national charity committed to its people and

Qualifications

  • Proven leadership experience in health and social care.
  • Experience delivering high-quality, person-centred care.
  • Willingness to pursue CQC registration if not already done.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support staff (rotas, supervision, performance).
  • Ensure high-quality, person-centred care and safeguarding compliance.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations, budgets, and health & safety.
  • Collaborate with families, professionals, and external agencies.
  • Manage admin, reports, and audits; recruit and develop staff.

Working closely with the Regional Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of support worker across one extra care service in Huyton

Our Support Needs & Challenges

You will be supporting adults within this extra care service with learning disabilities, mental health concerns, age related needs and dementia

Our Shifts

Monday to Friday, Flexibility required to cover the needs of the service

What You'll Be Doing
  • Managing and supporting staff (rotas, supervision, performance)

About You

You’ll already have experience in a health or social care setting and:

  • Be positive, proactive, and approachable
  • Have experience developing and managing support plans
  • Be committed to helping people feel part of their local community
  • Feel comfortable using basic IT systems
  • Good understanding and knowledge of CQC requirements
  • Ideally been registered with CQC previously or must be willing to be CQC registered
Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you’ll hold a relevant professional qualification, such as:

  • Level 5 in Leadership and Management
  • Must have the relevant experience, ideally have been registered with CQC before
