Job summary

Leonard Cheshire is seeking a proven senior leader to drive service improvements and operational excellence across multiple sites in England and Wales. You will support Service Managers, lead improvement programmes, and ensure quality, safety and financial objectives are met.

Based in the South East/South West with regular travel, you will build relationships with commissioners, regulators and stakeholders while embedding Leonard Cheshire's Right Care, Right Support, Right Culture principles.

Qualifications

  • Significant senior leadership experience in social care within budget and across multiple sites.
  • Proven experience delivering service improvement and turnaround programmes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other IT systems.
  • Passion for improving outcomes for disabled people.
  • Strong professional network within the social care sector.

Responsibilities

  • Support and develop Service Managers to improve performance and quality.
  • Lead service improvement and turnaround initiatives.
  • Deliver quality, compliance, financial and safety objectives.

  • Support budget delivery, reduce agency costs and strengthen workforce stability.
  • Provide leadership that promotes accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Lead or support safeguarding and regulatory improvement actions.

  • Build strong relationships with commissioners, regulators and key stakeholders.

Location: Ideally based in the South East/South West England e.g. Bromley, Romsey, Banbury, Cheltenham, Bristol, Cornwall - regular travel to our services in these locations will be required

About You

With a proven track record of delivering service improvements and operational excellence within budget and across multiple sites, you'll have a strong understanding of social care regulations and policy, excellent stakeholder management, leadership, coaching and mentoring abilities.
