Job summary

Thomas Hardie Commercials Ltd in Wrexham is seeking a motivated and versatile individual for the Service Department. The role operates Monday to Friday, 8am–4:30pm, reporting to the Business Manager, CSR Supervisor and Workshop Controller.

You will be the main link between customers and the depot, handling service and repair requirements and promoting service and accessories within technical limits. Responsibilities include maintaining customer relations, detailing work progress, and handling

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a customer facing role.
• Experience in the commercial vehicle industry or service role preferred.
• Friendly, confident and professional with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and in a team or independently.
• IT literate with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
• Full and current UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and act as main point of contact for the depot.
• Identify and progress routine service/repair requirements and promote services and accessories.
• Record customer requests and obtain authority to proceed.
• Prepare test/diagnosis reports for quotations and job cards.
• Promote workshop services and repair facilities.
• Handle site administration: input clock times, scan job cards, issue invoices, maintain reception area.
