Job summary

Interaction Recruitment is seeking a Service Coordinator in Wakefield (WF2) for a busy 24/7 service environment. Salary £28,000 - £32,000 and hours 08:00 - 17:00, Monday to Friday.

You will coordinate planned maintenance, reactive repairs and installations and manage engineer diaries, ensuring timely delivery and client communication.

Qualifications

• Proven experience coordinating field engineers.
• Experience managing both planned and reactive workloads.
• Strong organisational and scheduling skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Commercial awareness with budgeting understanding.
• Ability to remain calm and organised when priorities change.
• Experience in a service, engineering, maintenance or facilities environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule planned maintenance, reactive repairs and installations

SERVICE COORDINATOR

Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00

Are you an experienced Service Coordinator with a background in looking after field engineers and coordinating both planned and reactive work?

We are looking for someone who is confident managing engineer schedules, prioritising urgent jobs and keeping customers updated in a busy, fast-paced service environment.

This is a key role within a 24/7 service-based business, where responsiveness, organisation and customer service are essential. You will coordinate three key areas: Pre-Planned Maintenance (PPM), Reactive Repairs and Installations.

The Role

• Coordinate and schedule planned maintenance, reactive repairs and installations
• Manage engineer diaries, workloads and availability
• Be the first point of contact for clients, providing a professional and proactive service
• Respond quickly to urgent and reactive requirements
