Job summary

Confidential is seeking a Service Controller in Oldbury, West Midlands, to join the service administration team. The role focuses on pre-planned maintenance bookings, scheduling engineers, and maintaining accurate records.

You will interact with customers and engineers, update job statuses, and contribute to service improvements. The position offers training and progression within a 40-hour week, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Experience in service administration or service coordination within an engineering/technical environment.
• Ability to schedule and plan maintenance work or service visits for engineers.
• Strong written and verbal communication with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Take pre-planned maintenance bookings from customers and plan/schedule them.
• Speak to customers to arrange follow-up visits and book them in.
• Interact with service engineers and process engineer job sheets/work reports.
• Update job statuses in the internal system and ensure data accuracy.
• Take ownership of service improvement initiatives and cost control.
