Job summary

Oldbury-based role for a Service Controller within a nationwide vehicle fleet service provider. Salary £28,000–£30,000 with 20 days holiday + bank holidays, pension, life assurance and full training provided. 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm.

The role focuses on pre-planned maintenance bookings, scheduling engineers, and maintaining accurate data in internal systems. Ideal candidates will have a proven track record in service administration or coordination, strong communication

Qualifications

• Experience in service administration, service co-ordination or similar capacity.
• Strong scheduling and planning of maintenance work or service visits for engineers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; good data input and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Take pre-planned maintenance bookings from customers and plan/schedule them.
• Speak to customers to arrange follow-up visits and book them in.
• Interact with Service Engineers and process engineer job sheets / work reports.
• Change job status on internal systems and ensure data is accurate.
• Take ownership of service improvement initiatives and cost control.
